Hawai’i Calls: Just about everyone knows that we want to go back to Hawai’i. We hoped with Dawn and Bailey as key employees, Johanna working remotely, and a couple of other part timers, we could keep the store in Port Townsend. We also hoped someone would buy Akamai. Alas, that is not to be. The stars have aligned differently. So, business will continue as usual until April 29th, when Dawn, Johanna & Shirley will go to Minneapolis for the International Art Materials Trade show. Akamai will re-open on May 6th thru May 31st for our moving sale. Johanna and Shirley (with Dawn’s help) will re-open Art Supply Hawai’i in Kailua-Kona as soon as is humanly possible. While we will miss so many of you in PT, we are looking forward to getting back to our friends in Hawai’i.
